PTFE Stirrer Guide

Guide for stainless steel, glass and PTFE stirrer shafts. Embossed ring seals on the PTFE ground glass cone to fit ground glass sleeve. With special seal made of PTFE and FPM O-ring. Proportioned pressure of the GL screw cap on the O-ring provides a proper seal against the stirrer shaft. Temperature stable from -50 °C to +250 °C.

Available in range of B-14, B-19, B-24, B-29, B-34, B-45, B-55

PTFE Magnetic Stirring Bar

Provides stable stirring action. The plain PTFE magnetic stir bar work within a wide range of conditions, low prices from high-volume manufacturer.

  • Stable, general-purpose magnetic stir bar
  • Smooth, round profile for a wide variety of applications
  • Autoclavable

Available in size of 6mm to 25mm Diameter and 13mm to 100mm Length.

PTFE Magnetic Stirring Bar Retriever

PTFE-encapsulated stirring bar retriever with strong permanent magnet (Alnico 5), universal chemical resistance.

For the removal of stirring bars from aggressive liquids, prevents loss of stirring bars.

Available in 8-10mm Diameter and up to 1000mm Length

PTFE Beakers

Chemically Resistant PTFE Beakers are manufactured from virgin PTFE and machine finished to give a smooth surface for ease of cleaning and to eliminate contamination. PTFE beakers with pouring spouts are virtually immune to chemical attack, only attacked by some fluorine containing compounds at very high temperature and molten alkalis metals.

Working temperature range for PTFE beakers is from cryogenic to 260°C.

Available in capacity of 10mL to 5000mL

PTFE Crucibles

Made with PTFE, the crucible has a high quality and strong durability. Professionally designed to heat chemical compounds Great resistance to sudden cooling and heat High form body and lid for containment Machine finished surface for ease of cleaning and to eliminate contamination

Available in capacity of 20mL to 1000mL

PTFE Stirring Shafts

Stainless steel core surrounded by PTFE mantle, Chemical resistant, Economically friendly, Strong structure which doesn’t break easily, Can be used up to a max. Temperature of 280°C

The stainless steel core is revealed at the upper part and can be plugged into the stirrer.

Stirrer Shafts with Blades

Creates shearing force. Used for mixing media in an up to- Down axial flow, for mid and high-speed stirring, and For mid and low viscosity.

Application: Tangential flow with little turbulence, gentle stirring.

Centrifugal Stirrer Shafts, 2-Bladed

2-Blade Impeller which will open up depending on the stirring speed. Used for round vessels with narrow openings, for mixing media in an up-to-down axial flow, for mid and high-speed stirring

Application: The stirrer shaft can be used for stirring in narrow mouth vessels or in vessels with ground joint opening

Anchor/U Shaped Stirrer Shafts

PTFE-jacketed stainless steel shaft, u-shaped stirrer blade completely made of PTFE. Universal chemical resistance since the product is only exposed to PTFE.

Application: Strong, tangential flow with high shear rate in the margin area, little sediments on the wall of the vessel. Ideal for mixing viscous liquids.

Available in chucking diameter from 6.5mm to 14mm, Shaft Diameter from 8mm to 16mm, Length up to 1200mm

Moon Shaped Stirrer Shafts

PTFE-jacketed stainless steel shaft, tilting half-moon stirrer blade with double-sided groove and access for the stirrer shaft completely made of PTFE. Universal chemical resistance since the product is only exposed to PTFE.

Tangential flow with little turbulence. The tilting half-moon blade is ideal for stirring in round-bottom flasks with ground joint necks. Blades are available separately and can be mounted additionally.

Propeller Stirrer Shafts with 4 Blades

PTFE-jacketed stainless steel shaft, propeller completely made of PTFE with four 45° angled angular blades. Universal chemical resistance since the product is only exposed to PTFE.

Application: The product is sucked bottom-up, good axial flow with low shear force.

Impeller Stirrer Shafts

PTFE-jacketed stainless steel shaft, impeller completely made of PTFE with three blades bent backwards, lower side of impeller either even or 15° angled. Universal chemical resistance since the product is only exposed to PTFE.

Application: Very good and gentle stirring due to blades which are bent backwards, low shear force. The 15° angled impellers are ideal for stirring in vessels with round bottom.

Stirrer Shafts with two Paddles

PTFE-jacketed stainless steel shaft, two paddles arranged crosswise at 90° completely made of PTFE. Upper paddle is fixed by means of clamp screws made of PEEK compound.

Application: The product is sucked bottom-up, very good axial flow with low local shear force. The upper paddle can be positioned individually.

PTFE Stopper

Durable, chemically inert PTFE stoppers are ideal for use with flasks, funnels, and cylinders that require flask-length stoppers. Solid top minimizes expansion/contraction caused by heating or cooling. Also available in hollow tops as a container for micro-analytical processing of solutions.

Available in range of B-14, B-19, B-24, B-29, B-34, B-45, B-55

PTFE Screw Caps

Screw cap with handy knurl, suitable for GL threads, made of PTFE. After assembly, the product is only exposed to PTFE.

Application: For closing bottles and vessels with GL threads (GL-14, GL-18, GL-25, GL-32, GL-45, GL-80)

PTFE Scrapers

Scrapers made of PTFE with tapered end. Ideal handling due to big handle and wide blade. Universal chemical resistance.

Application: For a very gentle peeling of products.

Available in 50mm to 150mm Width & 150mm to 300mm Length.
